Spiritual Companions Fast Track
 

Fast Track

The purpose of the Fast Track is to badge people who are already up-to-speed with the Spiritual Companions Guidelines. There are two Fast Tracks.

Fast Track 1
This is for people who are up-to-speed with the Guidelines.
The procedure is as follows.  Applicants need to submit:

1.
A formal mainstream CV.

2.
A spiritual autobiography which follows this format:
A written document of between three and six thousand words
You write about each of the Guidelines one by one
You address each of the Guidelines in this way:
• How you first became aware of it
• How you began to put it into practice – difficulties and successes
• How you can be seen to practice it today in your daily life
We are not concerned with grammar and punctuation. We are concerned with honesty and transparency.

3.
You then need two people who are already Spiritual Companions to interview and sponsor you. We will do our best to find people who are geographically convenient for you.


Fast Track 2
This is for people who have formally worked in the field of Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Care for 10 years and already have a formal qualification in the field; and are up-to-speed with the Guidelines.

Please have your CV and qualifications ready. We’ll then arrange for two Spiritual Companions to sponsor you.
