Holistic Spiritual Alliance - Representation

The key to achieving representation is numbers. We have to demonstrate that we have a sizeable movement.
If we aggregate from magazine and book sales, we can suggest a minimum number of 100,000.
If we work from the statistics, such as the World Values Survey, we can suggest that up to 70% of the UK population has moved on to a more inclusive and generalised approach to spirituality.

Register

The project needs you to register. That is how we build up numbers.

If you register yourself or your organisation on this site and tick the box stating that you support the Holistic Values Statement, you automatically become a Member of the Holistic Spiritual Alliance.
This asserts that you support the Values Statement and take a holistic approach to spirituality.

Please sign up. Please get your friends and colleagues to sign up.

Local Organisers and Regional Networks

Area by area, we are mapping and listing all local activities — and engaging people in the project.
Our plan then is to create 12 UK Regional networks to engage with local government, Interfaith and Whitehall.
We have produced a model Constitution for these bodies. Please contact us if you would like to see a copy.

The regions are:

England
North East
North West
Yorkshire and Humber
East Midlands
West Midlands
East of England
London
South East
South West

Northern Ireland
Scotland
Wales

Service, Engagement and Citizenship

Enabling a holistic approach to contemporary spirituality.
Working together we can make spirituality a natural part of everyday life — for everyone.

Our Definitions

As best we can, we have developed these definitions to be appropriate for the contemporary context.

'Spirituality'
The natural human connection with the wonder and energy of nature, cosmos and all existence;
and the instinct to explore and understand its meaning.

'Holistic'
Everything is connected. You can understand a whole only by looking at its parts. You can understand a part only by looking at its whole. Celebrate diversity and connection.
